Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and automate deployment of distributed systems for data ingestion and transformation.

  • Implement frameworks for monitoring data quality and integrity.

  • Establish data governance processes for managing metadata and access.

  • Provide guidance on building scalable data pipelines.

  • Optimize database performance and troubleshoot data pipelines.

  • Develop large-scale data storage solutions using cloud-based platforms.

  • Automate data preparation tasks to improve productivity.

  • Ensure the success of critical analytics initiatives using agile methodologies.

  • Coach and mentor team members.



Qualifications and Skills:

  • Intermediate experience in data engineering.

  • Proficiency in SPARK, Scala/Java, SQL, and cloud computing.

  • Familiarity with ETL processes and tools.

  • Experience with Power BI, Python (preferred).

  • Knowledge of IoT technology and Agile development (preferred).


Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree in relevant discipline or equivalent experience.

  • Experience with Big Data platforms and relational databases.
