About the Role:


This role is for you if you enjoy working with data at scale and technology in general, and up to date with changes in the DE ecosystem. We are on the journey to upgrade our data architecture and you will be expected to play a crucial role in the journey. Along with this the role will require close collaboration with BI, technology and data scientists. Following is a representative list of what you will be doing but not limited to what is mentioned.

What You Will Do :

- Collaborate with BI, tech and DS to optimise DE pipelines for throughput, cost and uptime.

- Ability to skill yourself in new data technologies

- Govern and administer Snowflake and other data warehouses for consumption, scale and leaks.

- Define and manage security, roles and policies for different users.

- Work with the ML engg team to define correct data pipeline architecture for custom jobs.

- Enable automation and monitoring of warehouse for misuse

- Interested in exploring new opportunities like data cataloguing etc.

Key skills required :

- Understanding of optimising code and writing modular data pipelines for custom data integration jobs.

- Knowledge of version control, proficiency in Python,

- Knowledge of snowflake is plus, ability to use snowflake as an advanced user will be considered plus.

- Experience in working Google sheets, linux and orchestration tools like Airflow etc

- Experience with GCS, S3 and other cloud technologies

- Ability to enable custom data integration pipelines that work at scale reliably

- Understanding of Query/code profiling for efficiency and bugs
